Joseph the dreamer,

The crazy dreamer, he believed in dreams soo much..

-Believing in it even when itsn't working for you at the moment but believing it will work one day.

-Ever found yourself convincing someone something can work, even though it haven't worked for you yet?

-Unless you had seriously first believed and trusted you could make it from the beginning. Your drive to encourage them escapes you.

We think the worst undoing is when they achieve it before we do, because you encouraged them to go for it.

-Maybe because of the price you have already paid and have not yet achieved it, you might think of discouraging/warning them from going for it. its costly, can't you see I'm not yet there..
-You will only  do so if your focus diverted..
-But if you believe in what you have gone for, you will be confident enough to guide someone through what you are aiming for.

- you started earlier than they did, and they achieved it before you did.
-There's nothing stresing than witnessing your students bypass and achieve what you are yet to achieve because you motivated them to go for it.

-It calls for a special character a generous personality. an anger free human. bitter less, a man of character, humble,

Joseph found himself in a similar fix.
He had a dream as a teenager, he believed in it and looked forward to achieving it, Its the same dream that landed him in prison,.

This dream thing...

There comes these two guys who also had a dream, chief backler and the cup bearer,

He interprets the dream to them.

A dream to himself hadn't worked, worse more it had landed him in prison, He believed in it soo much that he didn't say, "leave alone the dream thing it landed me here, do not ever think dreams work, they don't I have an experience, and gives his story.. "

Instread he interpreted and believed it to happen.

The following day, pap! dream exactly as interpreted.

Joseph had negotiated his pay, "remember me when you are restored" It took two years.

More frustrated he was the cup bearer was restored.

It took him two years to remember Joseph the dream interpreter.

God wouldn't allow Joseph out of prison until he had worked on his anger, bitterness and revange.

Had he a plan to revange he would go for his brothers, who makes the twelve tribes of Israel, Saviours lineage.

God wouldn't risk the twelve for one.

continue encouraging them.

celebrate their victory, yours is almost there.

Your success is tired up in others success.

They win you win.

They lose you lose too.

blessed day as you help someone succed.

It can Never get lost.

Some things in life takes too long to build, they demands a lot of our time, money, commitment and much more resources, Others demands life to be fully accomplished.

Surprisingly to bring them down takes seconds.

It demanded a lot from the wright brothers to bring up the aeroplane. Imagine the pain when it first crashed and all they had as a reward of their years hard work turned back to zero.

I thought they lost all.. but wait... Even if it crashed to a point they couldn't collect any piece to build up another one. The art to build the next one couldn't be crushed!!! they didn't lose it all. Its the only thing that gave them hope.

Its heartbreaking how a tree can struggle from a seed to became a tree, only after years of tough times, its cut within minutes, and all is lost. a lifetime painful investment. But unless its fully uprooted, it will still sprout again, stronger maybe.

Most times the fear of losing all is much greater than the zeal to became. watch what you loose, you don't  lose everything, the art to became remains within you. The next process becomes simpler, don't be afraid of loses.

A friend is not made in a day or two neither three, but it takes time, years maybe, s/he's a friend because of maybe a common goal,

perhaps s/he got attracted to you because of who you are, what you do, what you believe, what you possess, what you like or what you hate. You determine the kind of friends you attract and that's you.

The moment you know who you are, even your friends will be consistent, because you will be real, you will be you. what ever attracts them and keeps them to you is the you that you don't struggle to became.

You will lose them if you keep changing who you are, more worse is when you don't know yourself. you can't even keep friends.

Loosing a friend is not easy, you've invested on them, let me put it correctly, you've wasted a lot with them. Maybe they discovered who you really are, maybe they were wrong when they made you a friend, there's something in you they hadn't seen. The made a wrong investment.

If it was the real you they didn't like, there's nothing much you can do about it.

If still on the process of discovering yourself, there's still more chance to learn all isn't lost, The art is not lost. Let them befriend you for who you are, for what you do, for what you believe, let them love you for you.

When God defines You.

God sees things differently from us. -Change your perspective. He calls Gideon a mighty man of valor, don't you think that was a joke of their times? When he was running away from their enemies, living in the caves.. God comes and calls him "Mighty man of valor" God doesn't call you according to what you are currently going through, He calls you rich even when you are currently poor, He calls you healed even when you are seriously sick.. He calls you a winner a conquer even when situations says otherwise, Whenever He introduced man to himself, everyone gets amazed, Gideon, Moses, David, Paul, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, name them.... he called him mighty not because of what he had done, not because of his past experiences, but because He knew what he was capable of doing, and what he would do.. God does not call you by your experiences, what you've gone through, He doesn't call you a failure because you failed all through, He calls you a success because He knows you will succeed.. My prayer this day is that God will introduce me to myself, I have paid soo much attention to my society, my parent, my environment, and I have been cheated of who I am.. LORD introduce me to myself and make me believe. Amen.!! Blessed Thursday!!

Young Men

My fellow young men in Gatundu North, along Chania river, and to be specific Makwa area, towards "Galilee" Chang'aa will wipe you and your descendants out.. Its meant to finish you. watch out!! Don't wait for the Chief to fight it out, the fight against it starts with you. You are an over comer, don't be a slave.. To the parent of this young men, your security, your peace, wealth, joy, economic growth, is in the hands of this young men, they go nuts they still remain to be your children.. Protect your children. The solution to your society is hidden in between the cords of love. its love for one another that will help you rehabilitate your society, To the Fathers, be responsible, be on the front line to lead the way, you are the foundations of those families, they emulate you, It takes courage to confront a young son who's out of school, for the sake of your descendants(your name) challenge them to be a Man in the society by being one!! To the spiritual leaders in the area, the task is on you!! keep watch lest the enemy devours the whole society.. do your part. To the Mothers, let tough love be in you. support your kids, pray for them, feed them, train them in the way they should go, nature them, teach them, the society is entrusted to you. To the big brothers, be good role models. be your brothers keeper.. To the young brothers and sisters, education!! education!! education!! take the bitter roots and you shall enjoy its sweet fruits.. study now thank me later. Education will wipe out that poverty!! To the political leaders - God is watching you!! lead your society, its entrusted to you..!! And Finally to you. Do what you must do for the sake of your society. some people lay down their lives for this generation that's the people this generation need..

Education Systems

Has the education systems changed? a few days ago, my neighbour requested me to assist her class 7 daughter do her assignment, Its long since I checked on the primary school books. Mathematics!!.

Okay, I value education, "let me know when they are ready.." a few minutes later a knock at my door, the daughter and her class 6 sister, both with a bunch of books... it was around 8:30pm. just about to prepare supper, I was eagerly waiting to see this "difficult maths"..

"I'm assigned from here to here" it was about 30 Mathematics questions, "But can we first begin with social studies?", Okay, still wondering,  "30 working  questions!!!" social studies there were like ten questions, where one is expected to read about the colonies and from the chapter answer the questions..

We quickly tackled the social studies questions.. went on to maths, but by the time we were starting maths she was seriously struggling, dozing off, I though for a moment, I'm I a boring teacher? I guess no.. only to later realize she had been working on other assignments since she left school..

As she left we had struggled to tackle 15questions, 15 more to go,.. may be she did it the following morning..

I kept wondering should the Education systems be change, could it be that they are being over worked? for the institutions to show the parents that their kids are seriously learning in school? Is it a plan to alienate/ separate the kids from spending time with their parents in the evening? when will they ever learn to do the kitchen chores? milking? when will they accompany their Mama to do shopping? questions crossed my mind unanswered,
I'm n't against education, it has played a big role to be where I am.. but not at the expense of other equally important things..

Can I propose, if there should be an assignment to the kids, let it be achievable.. there are still some lessons at home away from school to be learnt now that they scrambled off Art and craft, home science, carpentry and equals..

Every Parent in the neighbourhood is fighting with their children over school assignments, tell me when the kids will embrace education positively.. Are high schoolers pressured in education too?? but I guess they are the same people who were under same pressure in primary school...

The crucial Time.

We are raised and its pinned to us that without education we cannot make it in this life, I can confidently nullify this statement which I had believed to be true.. I'm not saying education is not important in life, I'm simply saying it's not the only requirement.  it doesn't guarantee success in life..

Proverbs says get knowledge, Education is very very important.

Last week I met some young men working on a construction site I'm involved in. on my arrival I found an interesting debate "Education." 

I found a young man aged 22 giving a testimony, "I left high school 6yrs ago in form three at kanunga high school" the school status is high in terms of education which indicates he was a bright boy.. "my parents didn't have money to enable me complete my education, I was sent home for school fees.. days turned to weeks, weeks to months, months to years and now this the sixth year out of school my efforts to book K.S.C.E exams bore no fruit, I left home in search for greener pastures, no hope is left in education, I know life will not be easy and I have to figure out how I'm going to survive" I recall a quote that says
"The worst thing that can happen to a human being isn't even death but being born because you have to figure out how to live" he says once you are born you are screwed!!

"My younger sister who by then was in class seven quit her education, after spending my second year home due to lack of school fees, I don't blame her, despite the fact that she was brighter than I, it was evident her school fees would be a challenge too." .."I got frustrated by her decision..."

A drunk middle aged man joined us too. one of the workers knew him very well, he decided to cut off the young man testifying and narrated the worse story of the drunk man who joined us in the site..

"You are better, your life isn't much wasted , for 'military' (the drunk man who joined us -nicknamed after one if his close friends in high school joined air force, and he kept saying that's he's also in military.) he left high school with a B+ in 1997," I looked at the drunk man whom they claim had a B+ in 97' I recalled the education value by then, I was eager to know what/where he went wrong..

He confirmed he had a letter from K.U only that he couldn't recall the course he was called to pursue. Again his parent delayed to take him to the university, He had fees balance back in his high school.. "I'm yet to go get my highschool certificate.." he told us " I paid a visit to my brother who was working in western and spent four years there before coming back home. and that's how I lost the chance to join university.. from then until today I'm still at home, having used every kind of drug, and currently alcoholic."

Where did they go wrong, what can be done to prevent such cases from happening, from a distance before you get to hear their story one may think they are the kind who've never landed in any class not until you hear them narrate their story in a better English than most of us.

Had they been in the house of God this long, in one way or another their lives would have been better, the hope of the young men wouldn't have been cut, I believe they would have got the way of life,

At times we take the knowledge revealed to us about the sanctuary for granted, we mistake frustrations that lead to seeking the earthly pleasure for joy, and we fail to appreciate and thank God for guiding us and hiding us under His wings..

We think its our knowledge on books that have sustained us this far..  No!! its Gods abundant mercies.

Choose to reach out to that form four leaver, encourage them, let them get involved in Church activities before we loose them to depression, drugs and likes. guide them career wise, and change a generation..

VALUE

Free things aren't valued much, But believe you me nothing is free, someone paid for it, that you can have it freely today.

When I was in primary school, the  government for some years provided lunch for every primary and secondary school student, all that was required of us was to come to school with a tin. this encouraged hundreds of children to join school.. to some this lunch was all they got the whole day and night. they survived on government lunch maize and beans.

There were complains of misuse, from most institutions since they didn't understand the real cost to the government and the tax payer, we became so much used to it, and thought we deserved to have it until the time it came to a stop and we couldn't pay for it. .. that's when we saw how much it helped the students. to some coming to school on empty stomach became unbearable and they quited. we then understood the real value of the government lunch when it was far gone..

Today as I write this I'm disappointed by the Kenyans who've rejected the Last mile connectivity programme funded by the government- connecting every citizen to the power grid. I happen to be among the people carrying out the field design, and sad enough there are some of us who've not yet understood the value of power- electricity they still want to remain in darkness..

I do not own shares in Kenya power and I'm not marketing them but am simply saying, get connected..

I'm n't surprised when we fail to value the valuable, In the Bible there's this young man who missed on the value. Esau, he sold his birthright to his young brother Jacob for food!! Isaac must have shared with them the blessings of their grandfather the promises and he must have known the value and privilege of being a first born, but anyway he sold it..

The value of anything is determined by how much you are willing to pay for something.. If you are willing to pay for 2,000 for my Techno phone that's the value you've placed on it. you've your reasons why you can pay for such amount and not more.. that's it value.
The more you are willing to pay for something the higher its valued..

Esau valued food much that he was willing to pay with his birthright. poor valuation..

Salvation is freely given to us. but surprisingly there are people who've not yet understood its value. sorry to say some of us will understand its value when we miss it and end up in hell.. just like the government lunch that we were soo used to, misused it until it was no more that's when we realised its value.

What was God willing to pay for you to receive salvation.? in other words what was the value of salvation?

, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God was willing to pay, with His Only Son.. that's the price He placed on you and me. for He loved us.  He values you that much.

You know whats required of you, value the valuable, accept the love of God,. and receive Him in our life, the price is paid do not delay, or it will be too late..

Understand the price paid by the tax payers through the government to get you connected and accept the power connection.

Understand the price paid by the tax payer and take care of the resources provided for you. someone has paid for it that you may enjoy it today accept it and take care of it.

Lost from the head.

This Morning We boarded a mat to town with two of my lady friends, they love it when we discuss widely on an issue and they will not get enough of it until they've dug deep in thoughts and understanding and I have spit every idea with explanation.

We occupy the back seat and starts this conversation, "  Sam... if you get married and realised that your wife have fallen for your friend, would you send her away? " wah tough question right? I shared my thoughts making a stand that for the sake of our kids sending her away would be the last option, I maintained that God's major agenda for marriage was to raise a godly offspring, its about the kids,.

The talk got hotter, a bigger number got attracted to our conversation, silently they listened to us argue and debate  it looked odd, we were the youngest in the Matatu, others just listened. but this middle aged man couldn't hold it any
more, he turned back to us, severally confirming who were debating such a topic..

Finally he gained confidence and said, young guys listen....
I'm married, now addressing me " This ladies are ...****..."  he begun his story, "let me share with you how I got my wife, A friend of mine invited me to their church, I'm raised in church so I didn't have a problem with it, On my visit I saw this lady lead in praise, and I "felt" for her, ever since I pursued her and finally we got married" we were all silently listening, " the praise leader I saw in the pulpit ceased after the wedding day, that night, remains a nightmare, We could tell his marriage ain't working,
he continued with the sad story,. the most shocking was the point he said The lady was experienced in matters of marriage, he was naive, he didn't know anything, it was terrible..

He insisted that the best couple requires two "experienced"  people, I highly opposed, but what do I say, amn't yet married..

So what advice do you give us as youths,? "young man don't just sit in church, go out, date Njoki, Wanjiku, Akinyi, get experienced, I couldn't believe it!! His like a father to me..

After a long conversation nobody came to our rescue, I boldly asked him, "and do you still go to church?" Yes I do,.
"Do you talk to the youths? " I love doing it..
automatically I knew we have lost a generation.. by then we were alighting already in town.

For some reasons I didn't agree with this man, though he looked elderly, insisting that he's a church member, he seats in a youth forum and share? I pitied his congregations.

Where is our generation heading?
with this kind of Fathers we need Jesus!!

FIGHT FOR THEM

Neh 4:11 And our adversaries said, "They will neither know nor see anything, till we come into their midst and kill them and cause the work to cease."

all the enemy wanted was the work of rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem to stop.

it wasn't about Nehemiah and the Israelites it was about what they were doing, he tried every way to discourage them, to a point they were seeking to kill them..

the devil understands that if you continue with what God has called you to do, through you many will be saved, encouraged, rejuvenated, will have hope, rise again.

he tries every way like he did with Nehemiah to stop the work of rebuilding, remember the work was not for the benefit of Nehemiah but of the Israelites. he could have chosen to sit back, go back to the palace for comfort, but he chose to soldier on, fight on, for the sake of the Israelites he fought.

if you stand strong many will be encouraged, strengthened, saved, and the devil is working every way out to stop you, he knows if you stop, the people you support are vulnerable, those who look up to you, those you offer a shoulder to cry are done..

for their sake stand strong, fight for them, be strong for them..

I eco Nehemiah's word to his colleagues

Neh 4:14 And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, "Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses."

I will fight on, I will remain strong, I will not be shaken for the sake of them that look up to me, that I support, I encourage, I will be strong, God help.

The Citizens Every Nation Need.

Its the responsibility of every citizen to ensure he she create and leaves behind a good nation for their fellow citizens. it doesn't matter how you find the nation, what matters is how you leave the nation, what irritates you most? I know you can talk about it the whole day.. stop!! quit talking about it and do something about it.

we need sober citizens not who talk about problems but those who show others how to solved one.. join Boniface Mugo and be a doer, don't just talk.

Everyone is good at delegating responsibilities - giving advice, this is how you should do it, try this, this is where you've gone wrong, try change this, employ that, where are you to implement that which you keep complaining about.?? better are them that have shown effort and erred.

I'm a good citizen and doesn't go against the constitution, you have the freedom of speech/expression maximize on it. "jiachilie" only I beg you to think before you talk. here is how I beg you to think, according to ultimate constitution.

Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.
-and from your meditation you can talk the whole day.

A story is given of the great China wall built to keep away their enemies, they concentrated on building the wall and forgot to build men, their enemies didn't have to jump over the wall they bribed the watchmen and passed through them same gate. they forgot to build the character in men. their work of building the wall was in vain.

Friends, why work 24/7 to acquire a lot of wealth, only when you leave it to your children they kill each other over it, misuse it and themselves. I've witnessed many such cases. Would you rather leave wealth to your kids or a better nation for them?
develop your children, spend time with them, create for them the nation you want them to live in.

Show them tribalism tribal they shall be, show them corruption blind they shall be, show them violence before you leave they shall be violent even to you, you define the world for them.

Build a good character in each one of them, and you are assured of their value in all things, and a promise of life here on earth and eternally.(1Tim4:8-9).

You must take it as a personal responsibility to raise men and women of character, create for them a world of your choice, and this does not limit you to your biological sons and daughters the call is to the whole Nation but of course it starts with your kids at home.

Invest in building the life of a man, and the impact will affect generations.

You have the chance to create a Nation for your kids and a choice of who you want them to be, God has entrusted it to you, and He readily offers a hand in the agenda, its also His agenda.

New Invention Route

To invent something new you got to forget the existing invention in that area for some time and move back into the world when the invention never existed..

After my highschool I joined a nearby town garage for exposure in mechanics but specified on the wiring systems. In the one year and two months I was there revolution happened in motor vehicles my mind was young, growing and focused to learn anything and about everything.

The carburetors were evolving to EFI systems . it wasn't something small it was  blow to the mechanics, new and old customers with new models which no mechanic ever learnt about. It required us to go back to class and learn more and more about the new system.

This day is different in this new world, long since the last time I saw a carburetor vehicle apart from at home Datsun double Axel pick up at home.

I'm in college headed to class. there's this vehicle I saw Datsun l200 an old vehicle driven by a young college lady. she drives across the compound to its normal parking.   behind her another old as gold vehicle with marks of age, moving slowly, overtaken by time.
surprisingly in this institution nobody cares to watch the old lagged vehicles as they move across the college compound to its parking. I remembered the Peugeot 504 at home raised with huge stones for support at home.

I can promise you if  you happen to be in that vehicle today everybody will be asking, what kind of a vehicle is this? old fashioned,
good thing is its the students driving it. they were not limited by what students might say, not ashamed. in fact  nobody cared. my dad's old Peugeot 504 looked new and better that this old vehicles. I got the idea to repair it back and make it my ride too.

at times you got to move from that new invention and move back a distance further as if it never happened. feel the environment back then, think how it happened get into the mind of people who lived then compare the current, get into the nerves of the inventors, see what they saw in the state they were.

what did the inventors think when they thought of EFI?. you cannot invent something new if you still want to enjoy the comfort of the current invention. get into the mind of those inventors go back 100years ago see and learn the basics and understand the steps of invention, learn.

but, how many are willing to learn? get out of their comfort zone, will we be limited by what people say, if we get out of our comfort zone its not comfortable. nobody wants to accompany you out of your comfort zone. your friends don't even want to see you. nobody wants isolation..me too.

this institution is different nobody bothers, cares or stares at you, am amazed by this two students not ashamed of their rides. I can assure you they having a great understanding and are our next big inventors..

some of us have never tried the old ride they don't understand the change they don't understand what have happened between the old and new model,

its better an old ride than walk to school.

it good to step out and feel how it felt when the invention was not there. its good to seat out, its the only way you will understand how it happened and be in a position to learn the next 10+ years. having the taste of the old and the new will help you and make the inventions easy to understand. are you willing to have a taste? I believe you can also have a feel of a hundred years to come.
get out of your comfort zone in your area and invent something new.

Sometimes turn off your phone, experience the years there were no communications, think about current and future communications, learn the basics..

Take a walk feel the past years when there were no  cars,

Turn off your T.V get  to that 50 years environment, you will learn a lot. whether its doing harm or good to you. and the best way to utilize it.

It Wasn't Over

The young man surrendered his life to Christ not so long ago, he was raised in Kariobangi, when he moved to our home area and he was introduced to us as a family we immediately got him employed to work in our family.

Being farmers we needed a worker who would assist take care of our cattle, chicken, goats and like in our home. the young man got an opportunity to work with us.

Everyone in the family admired his hard work, commitment and discipline all through, and for that reason among others like being born again, he won our hearts and became one of us, he enjoyed every privilege of a son in the family no longer as an employee, but a brother to us, a son in our family.

One morning, we received some visitors, police, this was after a long period of time living with the young man, the police came to our home place, they did their normal questioning, We didn't know exactly what they were searching for neither did they share with us... could it be our farm operations? could it be this young boy..? he's the only one we couldn't account for since birth, but from the day he joined us, we all can testify no error attached to him all our lives, we knew him as a hardworking born again young man.

The search bore no fruits, the police went back home, from that morning, we received frequent police, C.I.D visits, through out in my mind, they were investigating in the very wrong house, and people, wrong case.

In one of their visit after continuous investigations, I realised the young man was getting disturbed, he knew something that I didn't, as we were doing laundry at around 10am, a C.I.D officer called him, they sat next to our store talking for more than an hour and as I continued with laundry I saw them write and the boy explain something on paper to the continuously nodding officer.

After he was gone, the young man went to my parent, I pipped to see what they wrote on the paper and the only few words I could read were; Kariobangi, Mr. so n so.... , I knew the past was catching up with him, his story would soon be revealed, I didn't get a chance to hear the story from him in person for immediately a cruiser drove in our compound, and the officers demanded to see the "kariobangi boy", they left with him for what they said was further investigations..

Irrespective of what he could have done in the past, we can testify he was a changed man by now.

I'm challenged to ask why would Zaccheous restore four fold to everyone whom he had acquired anything falsely? was it to make up his past? 

Luk 19:8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold."

Luk 19:9 And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;

Once we are changed, we cannot be able to put everything we've done wrong (our mistakes) in the past to right. but I believe there are some things in our past that the Spirit will convict us to put right, don't ignore, pay that price then.

An Eagle

Much have been said about the eagle, this is just a reminder about this bird, its unique characteristics that even God likens Himself to it.

Its company.
If an eagle meets any other bird, it must be another eagle, no other bird can sustain its status, altitude. it has uniquely set for itself a position and an environment.

- It doesn't move in flock/ groups.- most of other birds do, an eagle moves alone,
If you find around yourself are people who keeps talking about other people, complaining about everything, unsatisfied always, lazy, think twice they might be hen.

If the eagle have to find another bird it must be an eagle.. what kind of people do you keep finding around you? ask them if they're an eagle or hen.

a hen only tries to fly when frightened, don't wait to be pushed to make a move..

Be around people who will challenge you to fly higher, make a step forward, disturb your comfort zone, people who will encourage you..

The Family Prophet.

The man is created to receives divine guidance from God not only for himself but for others. and in our case for his family. He is a PROPHET!!. its through him that God gave instructions from the beginning.  he represents God and its through him that God instructs his people. the family.

But rarely do we -men(fathers)- leads our families to give thanks even for the food? how many times do we lead devotions in our families, do we share the WORD? we've left it to our wives if at all it happens.. but who will teach our wives? our kids? we are the leaders in this..

What God expects of us.
Gen 2:15 Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

note# God commanded the man!

Gen 2:17 "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him."

Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

Gen 2:22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

from vs 15-18 when the man is receiving instructions about the tree of knowledge he is alone..
until vs 21 when God made a woman for him.

it was the mans responsibility to teach the woman God's WORD. take her around the garden passing to her knowledge entrusted to him by God.

We are not different, we are to teach our Wives and children the WORD. its us who've received the divine instructions from God. We are Prophets in our family.

Before you ask her hand for marriage, you got to seek the knowledge of God. have a vision, she comes as a helper,
give her directions..

she should find you busy..

Your Choice Today.

You have a choice everyday you wake up to choose what you  will focus on. you can focus on what's working in your life or what is not working in your life.

I've learnt that focusing on what's working in your life at times solves whats not working in our life.

Focusing on whats wrong in your life, doesn't bring solution in most times, it causes more fear more anxiety, worry, and limits you.

You got to train yourself to Focus on what's working in your life,the society trains us otherwise everything around us, in Media you will only hear of murder, diseases, economic crises, demonstration, suicide, strike.

What if the Nation today would focus on the fertile land we have in Kenya, the minerals we mine, the attraction sites that brings thousands to our country, the good health facilities, our culture, our businesses

This would be a totally different Kenya

Its time we develop the habit of focusing on the positive things.

Your potential is trapped inside of you, you've not met the best of you. you can only be better than you have ever been.

Remember our last post? Happiness.  focusing on whats wrong with and in your life robs you your happiness.

Happiness

Three simple questions for you today.

1.Are you having a good day?
2.Why are you having a good day or why are you having a bad day?
3.Would you rather have a good day or a bad day tomorrow, what about the day after tomorrow? next week?
The last question is the easiest coz I know everyone would want to have a good day everyday. am yet to meet anyone who would like to have a bad day any day.

We have a good day when we are happy, and a bad day when otherwise,

Whether we are having a good day or not depends on how we answer question 2. remember? why are you having a good day or a bad day.

The mind is like a balloon in the wind. its blown by external circumstances.

When things are going well in our way we are happy, but when things aren't working our way the happy feeling disappears. this way our happiness is on other peoples hands or in the circumstances around us.

If you wish to have a good day stop outsourcing your happiness from people and circumstances. stop attributing happiness to what is happening externally. and stop blaming others for unhappiness.

as long as our happiness depends on other people or circumstances it will always be unstable.

Cultivate a source of happiness and peace from inside  (your mind),

Happiness and unhappiness are states of the mind their real cause cannot be determined from outside the mind.

If your mind isn't peaceful you'll find it impossible to be happy.

Isn't what happens that makes us happy or unhappy, its how we respond to what happens. our state of mind determines our happiness or unhappiness

one sure way of cultivating the stable state of mind irrespective of the external factors is through MEDITATION.

meditation - is  concentrating on a peaceful state of mind, focusing on the positive state , learn to do it all the time.

Joshua 1:8 do not let this book of law depart from your mouth, mediate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do everything written in it and you will be prosperous an successful in everything you do.

God didn't add  war horses or soldiers neither empowered Joshua with atomic bomb to fight his enemies, He knows the power of meditation. The Word of God that reminded them of
His presence with them,
their promises,
their past victories,
they would never turn back.

they were not affected by what was happening around them, their enemies coming against them, the Word of God had transformed and renewed their mind. they held their peace. can we say they were happy? of course.

tap into the potential peaceful state of mind.
one sure way is through the WORD of God, it brings peace.

Act 10:36 "The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ--He is Lord of all--

2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

Peace is multiplied when you have the knowledge of God, through His Word of course.

Be happy always.

Men of different spirit

       Is lion the smartest animal in the jungle? I guess the snake is more canning. The Heaviest? I over heard hippo is about 50-times heavier than the lion. Is it the fastest? ooh No, cheetah beats it in a race. You know it isn't the tallest, giraffe is. but what makes it the King of the Jungle?

    Something that cannot be seen with naked eyes makes it stand out, its impossible to assume the lion, whatever makes it the king of the jungle beats height, wisdom, strength, speed name it. it cannot be compared with what the lion possess..

    I'm amazed that even God the creator of heaven and earth, likens Himself to a Lion, The LION OF JUDAH, and this makes me desire to understand whats in a lion, He created me in His own Image and likeness, I have to learn whats in a lion.

    When a Lion meets an elephant, what does it see? isn't it afraid of height? weight? size? I guess so.. but it sees "lunch''. It isn't intimidated by its size and height, or anything that the elephant possess.
within itself it says this a good lunch for my family..

    On the other hand the elephant looks at the small cat and sees an "eater" it believes so much that its lunch to the small cat.. and so it becomes. as a man thinks ...?.... so he is. its scriptural..

    The difference between the two animals is how they think, or rather their attitude.. the smallness or greatness we feel comes from within us, the outside factors triggers the inner greatness or smallness, irrespective of how advantageous we are until we change our attitudes we remain limited to what we think and believe.

    There were these twelve guys sent by Moses to spy the promised land for forty days and bring back the results. that's in Numbers 13.. they came with fruits of the lands. here is a report of ten of the twelve spies

   Num 13:27- And they told him, We came to the land to which you sent     us; it flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. yet the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large; and besides, we saw the descendants of Anak there(Giants).
Verse 30: But Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and occupy it; for we are well able to overcome it." 31: then the men who had gone up with him said "we are not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we."

   I ask ain't the Elephant stronger than than the Lion? it is. but the Lion maintains the attitude its well able to get lunch out of it.
     Maintain your positive attitude. The main thing is what you believe. Your attitude. You are well able. isn't about your strength, do you believe you can do it? get it?achieve it? do you have faith? you can make it. irrespective of all your flaws you don't have to be intelligent, strong, educated, fast learner, just change your attitude.

   This what God says about Joshua and Caleb who believed they would possess the land. all the others wouldn't make it to the promised land

    Num 14:24 But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring to the land into which he went and his descendants shall possess it.

    You are created to dominate the earth even the jungle, you better be better or rather have a better attitude than the lion haha..

     Desire to be a man of different spirit/attitude.

A Mother's wish and God's Will

This post might bring a lot of arguments. but either way take time to read, think through and its my prayer that God will speak to you through it.

God's intention for marriage isn't only for us to feel good or complete as some say it, but also to raise a godly offspring. though I have realized you can't blame your parent, for raising you the way your are, you have to appreciate the far they've brought you. Whether they left you to your grandma that's what was best for you at that time. they wanted the best for you..of course not all of them #stop complaining, stop trying to figure out,it happened you can't change anything much. #carry it from there you know what you didn't like about your background, change for your generation.

God's plan for you ain't based on your background, isn't determined by your parent, neither your brothers or sisters, but by God himself. lets see 1st Samuel 1, Hannah needed a son, she didn't know what to do with him after he came.. Abraham even at old age desired a son, you will agree with me apart from the pleasure that comes from being called Daddy or Mummy. no plan literally for their son. you do not have a plan for your child, you ain't sure of what you will do with him or her, don't worry no one has a plan, even your parent didn't have one for you. By plan I don't mean taking the child to school, university, getting married and raising their kids, No I mean the plan of the route taken by an individual to achieve their purpose here on earth.

God is committed to your destiny, whether you arrive there is up to you, He made you, placed you here on earth for a purpose, He wants you to succeed but He never violates the will of man, its all up to you to discover His will for you. its good, right and perfect Will for you.

The society as I stated in the previous post doesn't give a good environment for one to realise their purpose, it doesn't believe in you,to the society success is going to school, getting employed, married and raising your kids, am sorry but that's not what God made you to be. Your purpose is bigger than you, it impacts generations after you, Its bigger than your abilities, demands more than you can give, its divine. until the society thinks you are nuts you've not started your journey to your purpose.

Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind that you may know the right, good and perfect Will of God. that's scriptures Romans 12: 1-... there are patterns in this world, that we think are the norm, for everyone here, but listen and listen carefully, your life, your purpose is completely different from mine, you cannot live your life the way I've lived mine. two of the seven unique things in every human being is history and experience, be renewed in your minds. you are unique, with a different Mission that require different history and experience.

Nobody is better equipped and experienced to achieve what God designed you to achieve than you are. You are the best in it!! you better believe.

The tasks comes in when you have to discover what God designed, prepared and ordained you to be, the knowledge of His will, Proverbs says seek knowledge as silver and gold. One of author says two important days in a man are the day he was born and the day he discovers why. the answer isn't with your parent, neither hidden in your past experiences and history, nor in the society. its simply with your Maker. let your mind be transformed: transformation comes through the WORD of God, and you shall discover the Will of God for you. He knows why you are here, He have been watching you all through to ensure He (through you) achieve what He desired, that good, right and perfect will.

I'm speaking to you, because its about you and you purpose, irrespective of your age, not anyone else, look at Haggai and her son Ishmael, in the desert, the Bible says, God heard the prayer of Ishmael and answered. right? it Isn't your Mum or Dad, your husband or wife, your mentor or priest Pastor or whoever, to stand in the gap for you, to discover for you. NOooo.. Its you to go out of your way, and discover His will for you. " study the Scriptures, Pray, Fellowship, Testify, and Serve. meditate on His Word, seek Him, " He is a rewarder of them that seek Him diligently.

Our Original Focal Point..

The society we are living in has a lot of limitations. It doesn't allow us to do it our way, we cannot introduce a new way of doing things, there already exist plans of how its supposed to be done. plans that have not worked for centuries the only thing we know is one way that it won't work.

we are soo much afraid that our children will make the very same mistake we made. we caution them out of fear not knowledge. we don't give them solution by just telling them how we didn't make it. they only know one way it can never work but never a single way that it can work..

Opportunities were there for us to learn we lived the same life, similar challenges, but were soo mean we couldn't learn for our unborn children. I don't blame them blame your  ignorance during your time..

You never care to look back and check where you erred. life is yours let the rest mind their own business. you press on and ignore that lifetime lesson.
you think its over? its not over..
it has come around.. surprised? what goes around .....
the same timid child you were its with the same timidity and  ignorance that you will guide your kids.
Your son cant dare ask how you handled relationship at your time. He's very convinced according to how you treat mama nothing good can come out of you. 

you're even ashamed to face him, you learnt nothing.. your actions questions how you got mum into the "box".. you can't afford to be ignorant at this time and age.

What did you learn at this stage.? how did you start your very first business, what awaits me ahead? the kids will always wonder, but no where to turn to for counsel...  ooh social media, the media is all over to teach them...  you ain't even sure how you managed through it yourself as long as you managed it was none of your business. its your sons business today, claiming all your lifetime investments.

Information is power and power is in knowledge. the days that we lived in ignorance are far gone.

Brace yourself as a man a mother and talk to your children, help them acquire knowledge, sacrifice to pay for their seminars, those educational camps, you got to invest in your son and daughter..

Above all
Teach your children the Word of God, and they shall not depart from it. you no longer have to worry soo much about the decision they make, they will walk with the right people, stand on the right path, seat with the right people. and make the right choices. just cultivate in them the discipline of studying the WORD. - the ultimate counsellor

Psalms 1...... But his delight is in the book of law on this he meditates day and night He shall be like a tree planted by the streams of rivers that produces fruit in its season and whose leaves doesn't wither, whatever he does prospers...

the LORD watches over the way of the righteous..

The LORD will watch over you kids point them to God. there they are secure, you cannot have all the answers to their questions but God does.

Chose this day to help your kids, brothers and sisters make the right choices. point then to the original focal point.. "Image point ".

Poisoned Fun

       

 Ever come across on Facebook applications suggesting People you should never let go.- Your best friend- Some predicting your death day and the cause of death even to a point of creating a virtue grave with your profile photo on it.. the next one if not already there might be suggesting your spouse,  and you see how ignorant we are from our response to the applications. and no doubt a big number tend to believe it. I call it poisoned fun, its designed to influence your decisions, technology is making the decisions for us as we are seat like puppets being guided by technology. this is not who God designed us to be.

       I just read of an app in Facebook with the title -friends you should never let go.. I have no issues with the app, I'm an app developer student. after reading the post I ask myself a simple question who determines my friends and the friends I keep? is it technology an application that uses chances/guess work? or myself? are we living in such an ignorant life that we cannot make any of our own choices.? As I read one of the app user emotional post after several Facebook friends were highlighted by the app as people she should never let go, I got worried,. the app has by no means the ability to scrutinize the list according to her character n taste leave alone having common interests.

       Psalm 1.1-6.Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners nor seat in the  seat of mockers..

no application will discern it for you, you got to discern who is wicked, sinner and mocking.. and literally keep a distance

      now listen, but His delight in the book of law on this book He meditates day and night. Its the Word of God that will give you understanding, counsel, and knowledge to make a choice, be transformed by the Word of GOD. Its the source of discernment. God will give you wisdom.

   He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit in its season, and doesn't wither- life will be in them. their lives are productive always from the company they keep.. who influences your choices?,
acquire knowledge from God through His Word to enable you make the right choices.

      Other applications predicts the year one will die and the cause of death, and you find people believing it "shindwe" Friends Open your eyes and see.. Know the scriptures Focus on things above..
